Welcome to my site!

I am a first year PhD student in Political Science at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem specialising in political sociology and comparative politics.

I study the intersection between political and social cleavages and the distribution of public goods, both at the individual and party level, with a broader focus on the political behaviour of voters and elites in fragmented and polarised societies.

My dissertation project centres on the effect of rising resistance to immigration in European politics on adopting strategies to exclude immigrants from access to welfare states. It examines both the theoretical and sociological origins of social exclusion and the path dependence generated by party level ideology, institutional variations in welfare state, and the socio-economic base of support of political parties.

My professional experience includes working as a researcher and analyst at the Division for Government and Social Policy at the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, and a stint as a social, economic and environmental policy advisor for the Israeli Labour party during past campaigns.

I completed my B.A. at the Open University in Israel in Political Science and International Relations, before continuing for an M.A. in Government at Reichman University in Herzliya, Israel. Following this I was accepted into the Glaser-Mudie Graduate program, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where I completed another M.A. in Political Science in 2024, before continuing for a PhD. I've received fellowships including Hans-Böckler-Stiftung's 'Leaders at Work' and the 'Promising Social Economists' fellowship.
